Stopping a 560SEL

Since my accident with my 1981 300SD, I'm obsessed with safety. I just purchased a 1988 560SEL and I want to know what I can do to make this tank stop better? Changing the rotor, calipers and pads?

Yea, that's what I was thinking of doing, amke it handle better and brake better, at the same time getting that lowered stance.

I've heard a lot of spings a and combos around in this forum, does anybody know the best way to make the car handle better and at the same time have a lower stance? (Eibach Pro kit?)

well, here's what i'm considering. of course, these were recommended by everyone i asked. (all merecedes owners)

H&R sport spring set, and a pair of Bilstein Comfort shocks. and 13 or 18mm spring pads.

the total parts cost would be about $550.00 excluding labor costs.

I have H&R springs with Bilstein comfort shocks and 1 bump pads in the front and it is low. I might have to go to 2 bump pads as I have a bit of camber that they can't dial out and I am slowly chewing my tires.

Matt.

ATE "Power Discs" for the rotors and "Pagid" pads.
