Greetings again! Thank you to all who replied to my previous message! I greatly appreciate it. One small question about engine oil for the 5.6 sohc motor in the 560 SEC. What is the best type of viscocity of oil to use. I'm in north Japan with my Benz and it snows daily now that the winter is here. Someone once told me 0W-40 oil. I don't know if thats the "factory required" oil for this car. I would refer to the owners manual, but the damn thing is written in Japanese! Any help will be appreciated! in my 560sec manual is says to use 10W-30 for tempratures 10C and below. i think it goes...
in my 560sec manual is says to use 10W-30 for tempratures 10C and below. i think it goes down to -20C. i don't think you'll use any lower than that. the oil makes a big difference.
