Smoking Car

I have a similar problem, was told that it probably was the Transmission Modulator, had it replaced and it still does it - I am thinking Valve Guide Seals now

smoking

i was also told it was the trans modulater but i replaced and still happens, also was told it was the valve guide seals but what is strange is that it doesnt happen all the time, i am so used to the way it smokes that i can make it smoke or not, i am thinking about this leaking trans seal? but i am not sure what would allow fluid to pass and enter the engine? i am still doing research on this one

Let me know what you find out

What exactly are the symptoms that you see? Mine is strange too, because I CANNOT make it happen at will.

Sometimes it does it alot, sometimes it doesn't. Mine seems to do it more when there is more oil in the pan - e.g. like just after an oil change

Also seems like it happens when decelerating hard down a hill, then accelerating - but again not always

Mine gives a big-time cloud of smoke...
