1991 560sec what is the PSI transmission ? I've seached and found different numbers ( 56,48,46 ) I need the correct PSI to adjust the modulator .Also is this psi at idle or at 30mph.Also need the thread size for putting in a bango bolt to set psi. Thanks to all for help.

MB has different numbers depending on the year - not sure why, not a transmission expert, but that's what I've read. My experience has been to adjust the modulator depending on the type of shifting I was looking for... slightly firmer but not too hard as to damage the tranny long term. Others prefer a smoother pattern.

Lots of good info in this manual put together by a member here.

Harbor Freight has an oil pressure test kit that works great for this. Nice gauge, hose, and proper adapter.

You set the modulator pressure with the vacuum line disconnected.
