Timing Chain, Valve Job, Replace Cap,Rotor, Wires, Plugs on 560 SEL, Who has done this to their car?

Hey MBZ Goodfellas;<br> So I am in the process doing all this work done to my car, but I do not know what is all involved.<br> <br> for instance, <br> On a valve job, it involves replacing valve seals, guides, adjusting the valves, valve cover gasket, what else?<br> <br> Timing Chain, replace chain, guides and what else?<br> <br> plugs and stuff I know..<br> <br> doing all this work for around $2K, is this reasonable?<br> <br> any reply is appreciated.

Replace the timing chain, the guides, and the chain tensioner. All of the parts are relatively cheap; it's the labor that kills ya.<br>

How much did they quote for just the plugs, wires, rotor, and distributor cap? I'm getting ready to have those things done soon, too.<br>

hey admiral...

I just had the wires, cap and rotor replaced...<br> check out... http://mercedes.thebenzbin.com/ That was the cheapest I found, especially for shippin' the parts to Hawaii... then I got them in one day!! I didn't even pay next day air. <br> <br> cap $83<br> rotor $26<br> wires(beru)$135 pvl and bosch are cheaper, but I went with Beru(tried and true).
