Engine 300SE stalls from time to time - Benzworld.org

Hi, 
 
In september, I bought my '89 300 SE with 195.000 km's. I am driving on LPG now and regardless of driving on Gas or LPG, the engine sometimes stalls. This can happen on every occasion when the rev's come below 1500 rpm. 
 
It seems as if there is a mechanism that keeps the rev's up. If that mechanism doesn't work, the rev's drop fast and the car slows down on the engine more than normal. And coming below 1500 rpm, the engine stops. Really nice when you come off a high way and want to make a left turn; you get stuck in the middle of the road. 
 
I already cleaned the mechanism that keeps the engine running idle; that does not seem to be the problem. Any idea?

check accumulator.

Accumulator as in battery? Could check, but the car starts perfect when not having the problem. Or are you referring to the bobbin?

It is the fuel accumulator.
