: How would you remove the headunit(radio) of a 300SE? I just want to check the connections in the back because i think somethings loose.<p>Hiya :-)<br>In my 380SEL the radio just pulls out if you pull it hard enough! To get good access to the wiring though, remove the head unit (disconnecting the wiring as soon as you can get your hands in since it's probably quite short on the aerial.) Remove the head unit and then take out the ashtray. The ashtray "inside" the ashtray holder lifts out and then you can undo the two screws that holds the ashtray holder to the console. Remove this and there will be much more light getting to the wiring so you can have a good look.<p>
