Ingition on when door opened

Help!!! I've bough an 1988 model 560 SEL, and have jus found out that the ignition turns on when the passenger door is opened. This worries me a lot! Does anyone have any ideas??????

possibles are botched alarm installation, broken piece of fuse sitting in the fuse box, problem at the int. light/buzzer relay behind cluster and alarm module. the door not only works the lights and alarm but also relay in fuse box to power the seat.
