Ive just received a koenig tonight i know there has been alot of talk about this car and hate.
The car is stunning the details of the paintwork are amazing.
The interior is brand new i mean realy new!
Theres a bit of work to be done though but yea i bought it as a project for christmass.
I love the car already front brake calipers from a ml 55 amg.
And literly a ton of stuf that i havtn figured out.
I just made couple crap fotos will make more tommoro.
And please refrain from posting if all you are gonne say are bad things thanks!
supercharger is custom, custom radiatior, custom fuel system, and alot more
ianrandom
atm it runs a little high but nothing that looks troublesome right now,
ime suspecting a couple things that i will look into.
it just needs proper tuning.
torrem3
yea tidying the bay up a bit whit blue wires and stuff just to make it look more shiny. i have no clue how the fitted the ml 55 calipers i will look into that and post that once i found out how.
yea the artwork wont be removed.
the paintjob is just amazing, realy it has some stone chips on front bumper and little spots on rear bumper that i will get sorted out once i get the car running properly.
theres still nos in the car just not connected to engine atm, but i will properly remove that all together since i find that just a big risk.
but man the inside is just so clean and nice,
ive got some nice things planned for this car,
will be posting some beter pics tommoro
previous owner mentioned that some 1 got killed in this car.
ive got some paperwork of the police of spain,
but i cant read spanish so i have no clue if its true or not.
it says meurte in the letter i know that means death so maby yea
A little bit of cable management in the engine bay and maybe some polishing of the metal bits and that will peak my interests. I wonder how the ML55 brakes were fitted, must have been adapter plates?
Looking forward to seeing good pics on this - yes bring it on!!!
Rare Koenig+supercharged+Twin side rear pipes+custom rims=
Great score Neviu and lucky you
Cheers to you! I will follow this thread. Mural was not my thing on a car like this, but will not hate on another's car...ever. My Widebody could be hated on too because of the rear wing, but it is growing on me. If I had bought your car I would not destroy the art work either, though I might change out the hood and hang the artwork. Glad it went to a forum member that will enjoy it. COOL BEANS!!!
Car is truly a rolling work of art. I didn't remember that the whole car was the canvas. I remembered only the hood, (i.e. my post about hanging the hood up). Is the artist well known? He did do a great job. Not my cup of tea, but still very, very interesting.
Well Done!!Can't wait to see more pictures with better lighting. Awesome car!
After reading about the artist and the writeup about the car. It should remain as it is. Truly a work of art and famous to boot! Didn't realize it was an X-Man theme. How cool is that?!!!!! Another One Of. For sure!
Usually its the idle control valve or the idle control relay (in the passenger footwell) or the that overload protection breaker (up in the false fire wall with the red fliptop plastic lid)
A vacuum leak would cause erratic idle all the time.
Tjyak50 is the expert on idle issues http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w12...2-airflow-sensor-pot.html?highlight=idle+high
idle control relay is in in the firewall? or is there difference beteween us and eu cars?
i didnt check the ovp yet but as the fuse was still nice and the ovp looked brand new i could switch out and check.
