Ok.. I got the driver's seat out w/o much difficulty although it may prove more challenging to get back in. I want to remove the carpet now and hoping the forum can give me tips. I remove the driver's side floor carpet and after I got it out, I found a 'U' shaped bracket. have no idea where it came from. I will try to take a picture. In order to remove the side and center console carpets, do I need to remove the door threshold and center console assembly?
My carpet is absolutely filthy.. can't wait to clean everything.

The center console carpet panels pop out, no need to remove the console. Pop the door sills off and the wind lacing around the door up to above the carpet. The carpet tucks under the wind lacing.

Great Ian.. perfect excuse to take to my wife "Babe, I need a pressure washer. It will save us a lot of $". I'll try it... either way, I'll take before and after shots/video.
I recently replaced the rear carpet in my SEC. The piece I scored from the pull-a-part was kinda nasty. Looked like some jack-ass had just poured a full Coke on it on one side. I used a hot bucket of water with Tide in it. Scrubbed with a soft brush and rinsed. Looks like new. I'd be careful with that pressure washer.... my .02
