Newb question here.
I've heard the warnings about air shocks on domestic lincolns and cadillacs: put them up in the air, and, trying to compensate for the ride height, they suicide (I'm not clear on the mechanics, admittedly).
The leveling air-over-hydraulic suspension of a 1986 560sel: do I need to switch it off somehow and somewhere before I lift the car?
Couldn't find any suggestive switch in the trunk.
need to know!
thanks!
