Becker Radio Wiring Connectors

Hey guys,

Let me start with my issue. My 1987 300SDL came with the factory Becker unit (thankfully) but it has never worked. I removed it to find that all of the wires are disconnected in one way or another and I am missing the 4 pin connector for switched power, constant power, ground, and illumination. Is there anywhere I can find these connectors? I have done quite a bit of searching with no results. I believe it is the 4 pin connector with an jog on the right side. The other 4 pin connector is for the anti theft circuit and I am pretty sure I can leave that disconnected.

Also does anyone have an accurate diagram for all of the wires that go into the back of the unit? Every wire is disconnected and I don't even know where to start. Pretty sure I am missing the connectors for the speakers as well.

I would hit up a junk yard. These should be pretty easy to find and may even work across models.

I am also considering just ordering an upgraded Becker unit from Becker Autosound Website so I can get something a little more modern that looks like it would belong in an old Mercedes. Anyone have any input?

I have worked with them to get a lost radio code for a junk yard radio I bought. They normally charge like $25 for that service but they just gave me the code for free. I thought that the customer service was excellent.

I have worked with them also. They are great. I might just give them a call and see what my options are.
