Are Silverstar the brightest headlight bulbs available?

I've noticed my headlights and high beams don't light up the road like they used to, so I need new bulbs. Are Silverstar bulbs the brightest I can get? By the way I'm not talking about changing over to a new lighting system like HID or LED. Thanks. =)

Even though Sylvana and Osram have the same owner, I prefer Osram quality.

Teutone,

Thanks so much for that info, and it certainly does sound like Osram is the way to go -I was actually a bit shocked reading how much brighter the Osrams are and will also get them for my other vehicle. I do most of my driving late at night, so it's really important for me to have the brightest bulbs as I live in a forest full of deer, and have had too many close calls.

Can you tell me where you purchase online your Osram bulbs? And for my euro headlights I need an H4 for the low/high beam and an H3 for the fog lights rights? Hopefully the Osram bulbs come in both of these sizes. Thanks again Teutone! =)

I wish I was gutsy enough to give that a try.
It sucks when you don't have a place to work on your car,
living in an apartment is terrible

Not only that, but I've read that with HID's it's really hard to get a good fit, and many times the beam patterns they put out aren't good. So it's better to stick with stock bro. =)

I am sure there are customizing shops in hawaii that will install for you, ask around at some local stereo shops ...

adding LEDs and HIDs is very popular over there, shouldnt cost more than $150 installed. Here in CA there are even people on craigslist who do it for you

The conversion kits and our existing lenses don't match.
The forum archive has tons of threads.
Cheers
