t's -20c here and I bought some Mobil 1 trani fluid to replace my trani fluid in the clk 430 as i pulled the bottles from my trunk I noticed that the fluid was noticeably thinker then at room temp... MObil 1? I cant imagine the cheap stuff in our cars at -20c. After 15 min of driving my clk still only gives me 2/3 throttle... i want my SEL for the winter... not this new crap :smashpc:

oh are these new MBs suppose to restrict your throttle when it's cold? it's driving me nuts :banghead:

That reminds me of the progressive rev limiter on a friend's M5. As the engine warms, the rev limit is visibly raised on the tach.

I drove for 40 min and it still refused to kick down and the throttle was still dicey. Man this w208 is mint... bloody mint but this car protects it's self a lil too much in the cold, I will have it diagnosed on monday, maybe I am too aggressive.
