Of late the rear of the car seems to want to slide out, only quick correction of the wheel prevents a total spin out.. This occurs when there is moisture/water on the road, no load and not a lot of pedal power being applied. On the way to my daughters school, I nearly lost it on a turn..
Aside from tyres, too much speed and pedal power what other things may cause this?
It could be oil on the roadway. It accumulates during dry weather(summertime). It usually washes off after a couple of good rains. It can cause a busy intersection to get very interesting during the first rain of the year.
the rain was likely the cause, but I'd check your sway bar links, tyre pressures etc.. If it was cold and you are running summer only tyres that aren't up to temp that could make things greasy as well.
900$sel, It's not a real problem,..... Its just that I have never seen a W126 drifting before,,,, and here was I doing the drifting!!!!! Dimmuburger, this is not a 560!! Jono, I will follow up on the sway bar links, Tyre pressures are good all round (just had a puncture repaired).
