until yesterday, I was driving a SL 280 (R129) from 1998... Very nice car. Because I'll become a father in a few month , I had to change my car and get something with to real rear sits... Of course, my willing was to get stick to a Mercedes.
That is why I'm driving now, for my very 1st time a 560 SEC ! Amazing car !
So I'm jumping from the SL R129 forum to this one ... I will browse threads to gather tip & tricks as much as possible. Any advice welcome
If interested, I took few pictures of the 560 SEC this morning : people can see them on this picasa web album.

Welcome!
Very nice SEC.. is that Mercedes color code #122 Pearl Gray metallic? Whats your car's history? Was it originally sold in France (I ask because it does not have the yellow French fog lens)?

I'll check the "papers" of the car if something is mentioned about the color.
Indeed, the car was sold in Germany 1st (to a guy born in the 20's)... But the history of the car is fully known, with complete Mercedes papers (sorry I do not know the good word in English for "carnet d'entretien") : up the visit at 1500 km.
It then felt into the hand of a friend of my brother in France - Alsace (near Germany) who's a great fan of Mercedes. And now me.
I'll have to go to wordreference.com to translate some words from the user's manual from German to French.
