wow, what can you say? The boot badge has the stripes - which by rights it should not have, but as we learn with AMG and MB, things are not always as you expect.
The seller cannot be accused of not showing every flaw in an otherwise very good looking example.

That look slike it was poured with paint under a barrel of white paint!
I notice speedo may have been manipulated - the speedo gauge faces are too reddish orange, and what looks like a screwdriver scratch on one of the numbers.
///AMG badge - self explanatory.

It's a grey market car so the 71k is "U.S." miles most likely. Who knows how many kilometers were on the car prior to importation. Also, that is a frontspoiler from a w116, which is why it looks funny (doesn't exactly fit perfectly) and there is an exposed seam running along the top. Still is a nice car, but the price is ambitious

I agree. This cool looking car might not be what it seems. Indeed the AMG badge is wrong and those bodyparts look really weird the way they are put on. The rims are no real reason to suspect it's not a genuine AMG car since AMG used these Rial wheels in the early 80s as well. Have seen several original SE and SELs with these rims on in AMG brochures. Still think it's a fake though. Looks cool though, fake or not.
