I wanted to know if there was a special tool to hold the nut that is at the top of the sturt mount bushing. Let me explain a little more. You know the 2 big bushing that can be replaced easy buy removing the 2 long bolts about 3 inches in length they have a nut that is on a piece of then metal that sticks out of each side of the frame well I have on that is just the nut and no metal to hold the nut. I have tried combination wrenches and to fit that nut they don't fit in that opening to get on the nut.
So I hope someone can tell me how to take care of this.
Oh, that's bad...the piece is supposed to be captive via a set of arms that stick through the chassis.... when the cars see a lot of salt etc the 'arms' rust off..you're best bet is a sturdy long set of needle nose pliers and lots of pen oil....
If you look @ your new pieces you'll see the part that I'm talking about and how what's on your car is broken.

Got them changed a few months ago. If I remember correctly, the mechanic had to cut in the frame to get to the bolt, than weld a peice of metal to the nut to hlod it properly in re-installint long bolts, then re weld the frame after the job, both sides... Too much rust ot this nut...
But it did the job.
Good luck
