Hey guys...been inactive for a while...work has just been kicking me up one side and down the other. Anyways, came across this car and just could not pass it by. It's a 1968 280 SE that has a 1972 Corvette 350 with turbo 400 tranny.
It is my son's car so that he can learn how to keep a car running and the responsibilites that come with a car such as this. The insurance guy likes the 1968 Benz for a 17 year old.
I tried looking around and have not found a forum for this vintage vehicle...any pointers on this old car. We got it CHEAP due to heater core leaking all over the interior (which is pretty damn cherry...no cracks in dash and seats are great!)
We have manuals on order, but would like some pointers on getting into the heater core. For now, kid is bypassing heater core so we can at least drive it without getting wet feet.
Check out the vintage forum. The car is actually a W108.
