Angry Question about the watch dog og the forum

Doesn't he or she know that we try to do the DIY search. Doesn't it bother you that he or she is the one to replys first and the says check the DIY.... Well it is just easier sometime to post the question to get the quickest answer.

I know that some of us are new to the whole benz thing. I haven't owned one in 10 years. Well I work 80 hours a week and I am a blond I type thing not in the right way some times but why does he have the time to read every posting and not give us the likes instead of his answer!!!! (TRY THE DIY) I have tried and let me tell u all I get great answers out of u that reply to the posting instead of that DIY postings.

I am a 35 year male that got his 80 year grandmothers bens CHEAP I havent owned one in 5 years. I feel that if this is the treatment that I get from a watch dog why would I own one. I do have a BWM as well and I belong to the forum and I am treated way better then this so why guy would I want to belong to this forum or even own a Benz for that the way I am responded 2..... Before this I was in teh process of restoring a 89 420 Sel and at this point I would rather set it on fire then deal with a metorator that is not look out for our interest!!!!!

If you are in this forum I am sure that you have gotten those LOOK AT THE DIY.

If you are a true Benz owner then we need to put him or her in there place. They are there to make sure we are not being bad not knotty with words.

Instead we are told to cheack first the DIY!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure that we all have or if we didn't we are worker bee that don't have time to sit here for hours on hours and reading BS......

I hope that you all kind feel that same way. My email address is: edwardgwright@yaoo.com

The benzworld search feature is far from perfect, and is in the process of being improved.
Searching through the data base is time consuming (I speak from personal experience), but can get good results.
It is surprising to see how many members never bother to read the 'Welcome to the Forum' tutorial sticky, or peruse the DIY, and how many new members omit a location in their profile
While personal interaction is what makes BenzWorld work, good forum etiquette would be to do a search first, and then ask a more specific question / try to clarify still open points.
When I see a thread with an unanswered question to which the solution may be found by a search through the archive, I direct the member to the 'Welcome to the Forum' tutorial sticky.
We are fortunate to have a number of resident experts, but even their patience might get taxed by questions that have been asked and answered numerous times before.
When we call our xxx $ an hour attorneys with questions, we prepare with a bit of research in order not to waste valuable time.
IMO, when experts give freely of their time and expertise, we should afford them the same courtesy, and perhaps add the occasional 'thank you.'
Cheers

Your thread 'Start in first Gear', a 60 second forum search: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w126...rst+Gear+Start

Many questions have been asked and answered multiple times before.
Do I understand you correctly; 'you don't want to waste your time by doing a little research, but at the same time you expect others to offer their time freely on your behalf?'
Just think about what you are saying.

Alert! Someone has their panties in a bunch!!!!! It is called English Man!!!!! It is never typed the way it sounds.......anyway, the search is for........free valuable information, contributed by members who have taken their valuable time to do so. If you were a regular browser on ANY forum, you would find that searching is the best way to pull FREE information on what you want accomplished, it's all here, but why should we waste our valuable time AGAIN covering a topic already beat to death due to some slacker who can't click a mouse button a couple of times---let me guess, your the guy who takes his own sheap @ss parts into a shop and expects his Indie to do the work for free right?

I don't usually engage in inflammatory threads except the one time with ol' Rex, but it seems to me that your implying you don't have enough time to "..sit there[ed] for hours on hours and reading BS..." yet you have enough time to sit and type it. It also seems that you have the proverbial up your behind, which would explain the back up of crap in your system coming out of your mouth and onto the keyboard (would also explain the grammatical and spelling errors). Go ahead and burn your 420, Im sure it would rather go up in smoke then put up with you messing around with it and offending its sensibilities.

Repeated in response to his other rant:
Let me see if I understand this rant. You're asking about a problem with a somewhat complicated answer, on a subject that has been discussed many times on this forum and are giving attitude to the guy that is trying to send you to where you'll find all the information you'll need to determine your problem and how to rectify it.

I'd suggest reading some books by Dale Carnegie then get back to us.
How to Win Friends and Influence People
This is Dale Carnegie's summary of his book, from 1936
Table of Contents
1. Fundamental Techniques in Handling People
2. Six Ways to Make People Like You
3. How to Win People to Your Way of Thinking
4. Be a Leader: How to Change People Without Giving Offense or Arousing Resentment

Also, here’s some guidance from Wikipedia:
Punctuation is everything in written language other than the actual letters or numbers, including punctuation marks (listed at right), inter-word spaces and indentation.[1]
Punctuation marks are symbols that correspond to neither phonemes (sounds) of a language nor to lexemes (words and phrases), but which serve to indicate the structure and organization of writing, as well as intonation and pauses to be observed when reading it aloud. See orthography.
In English, punctuation is vital to disambiguate the meaning of sentences. For example, "woman, without her man, is nothing," and "woman: without her, man is nothing," have greatly different meanings, as do "eats shoots and leaves" and "eats, shoots and leaves."[2]

Then there is spelling.

Have a Great Benzworld Day!!

I'm wondering too. He sent me a PM asking about one of my parts cars, said he was very interested in more than just the fenders he initially wanted, said he would even drive up to look at it. Then he stopped answering my PMs after sending him pics, more detailed info, etc. I recently contacted him again just to make sure as someone else wanted the same parts, still no answer. I thought he had disappeared, then saw all his rants and postings yesterday.

Maybe he just had a bad week?

My teenagers type "like that"!

This post is too funny.
1. Learn how to spell or use spell check.
2. Do men really refer to themselves as being the blond type???
3. Which one is it, did you last own a mercedes 5 years ago or 10 years ago?
4. Did you really give your Grandmother a small amount of money for her car? What is cheap anyway? I would think you would at least give your Grandmother fair market value for her car. I mean really! Several people have called me cold hearted when I work on deals but I would never undercut my Grandmother. Is there something wrong with you? The decent person would have tried to give her a bit more if they could afford to-SHE IS YOUR GRANDMOTHER.
5. "If you are a true Benz owner then we need to put him or her in there place". We are true benz owners. Do not use words like "we". You are not a part of "we". Most of us have been here for a long time. Some us know each other personally, as in face to face and not on the web.
6. If you work 80 hours a week, when do you get to work on "restoring" your 420SEL?
7. Feel free to set it on fire.
8. Feel free to leave and enjoy that BWM.
