QUESTIONS!:
1.) I was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy just the rubber seals for the front corner lights? I am in dire need of some. The ones I have are toast.
3.) Also, can someone explain how I might identify AMG cams or other engine modifications?
4.) From anyones experiences, do any dealers stock the small chrome strips that go in the factory grille? The vertical and horizontal pieces. How much do these pieces run?
Update for the evening:
First, I'd like to know which of these tail lights is the proper one for this car?
This one
Or this one?
The backs:
I polished the 3rd Brake light thats in the spoiler of this car:
Before:
After:
Also polished up the corner lights, here are two pictures comparing them. The one of the left is the one I worked on.
Much more to come tomorrow.

I think you ave Euro Log headers on there. They are identical to the ones on US spec cars, but They have separate downpipes, thus making it posible to run true dual exhaust if you decided to. I can get pictures of mine tomarrow and compare. I have the same car but one year older and the SEL version, I suspect AMG mods on mine as well... As far as the cams, they Should be stamped and there could be stickers around in the engine bay, I don't know if the valve covers would be stamped, that may only be in the 6.0 application.
**AMG mods**
Suspention. One member (name escapes me at the moment) has AMG supention on their car, The shocks Have Bilstein on them with a blue stripe and the AMG label under them.
Other mods include the steering wheel, which I think you can figure out.
The obvious bodykit.
Wheels, (I like your Ronals by the way, and I have never liked them)
AMG wood trim kit I don't know if it was offered on the short wheelbase but it includes extra wood trim on the doors. Pictured (hope the owner doesn't mind)
AMG gauge Cluster in white with the AMG symbol under the Speedometer. (Pictured)
2 Person rear seating?
Recaro seats? Although not AMG they are highly sought after..** Would love to see what the interior looks like**
**Spoiler sounds interesting, I haven't seen many with the third brake light Pictures please?**
The point is, we all want to see more of this car.
As far as the seals, unfortuanly I can't help you, Jonno might be able to though!
I would also like to congratulate you on remarkable Persistance in Cleaning/polishing. I haven't seen this kind of detailed effort since darkone's 500SEC.

I really appreciate the information.
I will check tomorrow or Wednesday on the cams, I think I am most interested to find out if it has though, I would really like them.
The engine fired up on its own for the first time today, ran very well and sounded lovely, but I am not driving it yet as there are still a host of things to be replaced/changed. I will probably have some videos up this week. I am having a custom intake setup and exhaust made while its in the shop as well. I want it to come out strong.
The car has some seriously screwed up wiring, half of the things don't work, and the other half are backwards, lol. I really need to sit down and spend some time getting things right again. Thankfully wiring is something I can handle on my own.

Well today was not a good day.
The engine is burning a lot of something, oil, bad gas, whatever, not sure yet.
The transmission is also slipping really bad and is making some terrible sounds, despite being told from the previous owner the transmission was completely rebuilt.
There are possible explanations for these issues that might not be terrible to repair, but there are a lot more things to be fixed in addition. Its not looking good really, I might end up parting this one out.
