water leaking in.

I Have problems with water leaking in to my 1985 380 se.
This happens at moderate to hard rain.
It seems that the sunroof is tight, but i could be wrong.
I have added red arrows at the picture,
where water is dripping during rain.
Any ideas how to fix this ?

The draintube from the sliding roof is probably leaking.

Did you do a forum search?

Had the same problem and source was windshield sealing. I had my windshield replaced because it was all pitted and scratched. When they pulled old one off, there was a big gap at top where old seal deteriorated. New windshield, newly sealed, no leak.

I fully agree with Smack, it is the windshield sealant.

If the windshiled is in good condition, you can try to remove the windshield chrome pieces and put some new silicone sealant in there, but the best solution is to remove the windshield and re-install it and then you might as well get new glass.
