oil leak...usual suspects?, head-bolt torque?

Still don't have a resource that gives me torque values (tried a search), so I'm hoping I have a head-bolt that is a little weak...just getting a small (2-3 mls) on the garage floor overnight, and an burnt oil smell under the hood while underway (no smoke at all).

I'm putting UV dye in tonight, but thought I'd run it past the panel here for areas to concentrate on...

Thanks,

Rick

I am 100 percent sure that the answer is in the thread that was given you in the other post regarding the same subject.

The pdf document is in this post.[/quote]

click on the link and read. The member who started this thread renewed all the headbolts on his M103 and AFAIK with successs. Torque specs included.

Rick,

The M103 usually leaks oil by the timing chain cover under the distributor. Look down on the head and block at the front of the motor for wet oil. It is a DIY project or a reasonably-priced job in a shop.
