My god, it looks gigantic! Also looks to have seats out of an early 90's S-class

I actually like that front end conversion. Most of the time, they just look cheap and fake. The seats... no. Just don't fit that car, sorry. A set of late gen II seats would look much better.

A number of those conversions were posted here (Roland?), and opinions were divided.
Not sure, but I think there was even an SEC with a sedan front.

I was thinking about putting those seats in my 560...or the other style of seats from the W140.

I saw lots of those in the 80s - the SEC fronts on the SEL was a common conversion that never looked right to me.

My greymarket SEL was converted while it was still in Germany with the addition of a hood mod with the coupe grill. I didn't care much for it at first but it has grown on me to the point that I really like it. Kind of like a good womans suit, I can get another sedan hood and it will bolt right on if I want to change back to the classic look for a change of pace. I retain the sedan euro lenses and turn indicators and this will help me out. I can take the almost new lenses from the euros on my SD and put them on the SEL as the chip I got in one will be covered up behind the grill and I can get a new pair for the SD. Going to order this before the new lenses go on: Headlight Protection

I'm not keen on the seats either. Just not right in the W126.
