Thought you would get a chuckle out of this. There is also a link to what 3,000 classic cars look like when they take over a tourist trap. This is Frankenmuth, MI The first 7 pics are from the Friday night parade of cars taking over the downtown and the rest are all the cars in the park on Saturday. To give you an idea of how big this is, none of the pictures overlap - each is of a different section of the show. There is one classic Benz in the car pictures in the link below- can you spot it?

Ahh the Pantera! Had a good friend that bought a '72 L model new. We used to run it in SCCA solo events. I've never driven a car that handled as well. Great cornering, braking, acceleration and top end. The first car I was ever able to put in a 4 wheel drift around corners and be entirely in control. Had it out on the Interstate late one night, accelerating out of the on ramp up to 145mph in 4th gear turning around 4800 rpm and still had 5th gear to go! YeeHaa!
Just saw one advertised locally that the owner says has $45k invested but will sell for $35k because it has a bent crankshaft. I'm tempted to go look at it, but still remember my friend paying a little over $22k for his new.
