Intake Manifold Gaskets

I have questions about the intake manifold gaskets. Is "Reinz" a good OEM brand or is another brand recommended? Which brand is most recommended in terms of quality for our cars?

When it comes to our intakes, there should be only one thought.. oem benz. They are simply better quality. That and many aftermarket intake gaskets have a bad rep of the ports not lining up right. If you are going to take the time to take the whole thing apart you might as well spend a couple more bucks and use benz.. They updated the gaskets several times throughout the w126 life, each time improving or fixing flaws.. I don't know if the aftermarkets do.. one tiny little leak means taking it all back apart.. not the quickest of things to do

Hope it helps!

VR or Elring IME make a fine gasket.. A LOT of the gaskets I get that are Genuine w/ the Star are made by the above two manufactures.
