Took apart my sunroof the other day and realized both my lift/retract gears were screwed up. I have no way of bolting the sunroof down completely except for the two brackets at the front, which aren't very secure in the first place. I made sure the seals were all in the right places and the sunroof sits level with the rest of the body of the car by making my own mounting brackets.
My question is would you still drive the car with the messed up sunroof?
Keep your car stereo below 160 db and put some duct tape on the seams and you'll be fine.

NO!!!
Unless your willing to see your sunroof fly out of the car, be destroyed and causing possible further damage to the car. Not to mention possible damage to others and property.
Take it to a dealership or Indy to have it repaired properly.
