Missing: Part # 29 in vacuum diagrams?
We have a bit of a stumbler.
On the CD,s, all vacuum diagram, 19 81 - 86, show on the top part # 29, a check valve (injected air).
The former owner of my car had plugged a number of vac. lines that we restored.
But there is no # 29 valve on my car.
I posted in 'good news for me', but haven't heard back from anyone.
This valve is shown to be on the back (to fire wall) of the engine, next to the linkage.

Check valve
On my 84 500 SEC euro that check valve is threaded into the block at the right side towards the front, with a hose running from it to the air pump.

Dave D, you say the valve is on the right side of the intake, towards the firewall? From the diagram, it looks like it's on the timing housing cover.

You are right. Found it up front, next to the oil filter. Hasn't been used in a while.
