Have you checked that your car in fact does have the exact engine (075563) and trans (274942) that the data sheet says it has?
If the Vin on the fire wall is WDB1260451A507476 and the engine and trans are what they should be then I have no suggestions otherwise I might have some ideas.
An added thought: since all the Mercedes that I saw in NK were black your arctic white one was probably owned by one of the Kims...or someone VERY high. Too bad you can't do a DNA swab of the steering wheel.
Here are some photos that my daughter took when we were in North Korea on the 2nd trip:
Apparently Kim Jong-Il uses benzes to pay off his generals and keep buddies around, and he is apparently Hennessey Cognac's biggest customer: (from Kim Jong Il | codenamejack.com)
"
Kim is a big fan of luxury cars and spent over $20,000,000 last year importing 20 new Mercedes Benz S500 luxury sedans to add to North Korea’s already existing stockpile of 7000 Mercedes. Wait, I’m sorry, I said “North Korea’s” stockpile. I meant Kim Jong Il’s stockpile, as I’m doubting you see many Mercedes S500′S tooling around Pyongyang. But the ones you do see, the ones he allows his staff to drive, have license plates with Kim’s birthday on them. Nice touch."
And the grog...
"Oh, and my personal favorite, Kim is Hennessy Coganc’s single largest customer. He purchases approximately $700,000.00 worth of cognac yearly – more than any other single customer in the world. No wonder he thinks he was born under a double rainbow. He’s always drunk."
So you might have one of his cars, but I don't know how it would have escaped...

On my 2nd trip to NK I visited his film studio where Kim was in the process of making movies....it looked like a cowboy set.
NK is a bizarre place to visit....the average person does not know that man landed on the moon...the 'strangers' that you actually come in contact with know your name...your guide knows everything you eat or drink...
I'd like to go back again. My first visit was when Kim Il Sung was still alive. The second visit was after he died. I tried on both trips to buy one of those Great Leader or Dear Leader pins that everyone wears but my guide said i couldn't buy one as "you don't have him in your heart."

I have checked this out to make sure it is a 'numbers matching' car as they say and this appear to be the case. The numbers are all matching what should be expected according to the MB factory build sheet.
