Replacement steering wheel thread

I've bought this (auction photo that follows) and plan to fit it to my 560 SEL. After 16 years, my factory airbag version is probably a mere 'poof' version of its original designed condition anyway, so now I feel like a change.
New wheel size is 14.5inches (370mm) and made by Nardi.
Whatcha think?.

Cool, is it much smaller than the 126 stock one, I don't know the size exactly.

Great looking steering wheel. Would be interested in the size also. What was the price?

Stock is about 16" for 2nd gen. 126's - 1st gen were more bus like and larger still.

Teutone - wheels like these are crazy cheap down here, I don't know why. This one cost me equiv. US$50. The Nardi I bought just a week or two ago for my (wifes) coupe was equiv. US$ about $22 (signed, numbered, and stamped) picture of that one follows.

The boss kit arrives this week. I've replaced the Nardi horn badge with a Merc. one (it needed about 2mm ground off it all round to fit).

Just on the issue of replacement steering wheels, I drove my mechanics 1988 W201 190E last week as a replacement car while mine was being serviced, and the wheel is quite a bit smaller.

Anyone know if they will fit into a 126 (non airbag)?

Cheers

Which key style (hex) undoes the airbag?
