Might be picking up a parts Benz, not sure if it's worth it's weight in parts. Since I am new to MB, and have a '93 500 SEL is there any parts others would want? trying to justify buying it, and passing the savings cost of parts onto other members.

How much are they asking? If the hood is dent free it is worth around 6-800 bucks. I dunno about anything else, other than the wood, which if it is in good shape should bring some money.

If the parts car is a 500 or 380, many of the parts are interchangeable with yours. The interchangeability of parts from the 420/560 is limited. You left out the most important info, the mod. and price?
Model is 560 SEC, price is negotiable for the older gentleman. He wants it gone asap, but hate to take it, and loose $$. Price is cheap. Car is local to me.
Will post the full vin, and pics. Just looking to help others out on price, like others have helped out us (my family) since we joined the board. Not looking for top dollar, but price that is fair to both parties involved.
Since almost all of the body parts are specific only to the SEC except the rear bumper and taillights, the body parts can be pretty hard to find. Especially good used parts as opposed to new ones from the stealers.
I'm looking for a front grill and a rear deck trim piece.
