Hi everyone..... This is my first entry and I'm very exited. I recently purchased a 1987-300sdl-260,000 miles,for 1000.00$. The car is immaculate.I need to fix the ac,but in the long run, I still cant get to sleep at night. The body is ash grey,and dentless. Anyway,I just wanted to know if anyone knew the 1987 original suggested retail price?[:D]

In 1982, the MSRP was $37,970 on the East Coast. I'd guess your '87 was just over $40,000.

I have the window sticker for my '87 420 SEL.
It gives the MSRP as $53,000 (in October 1986).
I guess your 300 SDL can't be too far from this.

I almost bought one in 1987. I was stupid and bought the "new" Jaguar instead. The 300SDL was about $45k

Price on my 1986 SDL was $39,015. That was on the title
