Looking for 1 15" CENTRA bundts & 1 15" ARC Bundts........
W124 parts for sale just ask.. sedan or wagon parts available... Us or euro versions.
one of mines was an unloved ones, it started off as a 380se from fatherland, somehow the vee8 died, and some mer mech dropped a 300sd engine in it.
some gal bought her and dropped a new batt, ordered a new ignition tumbler so keys matched ( thank god I changed her right away, was getting difficult to turn ) , adjusted valves etc.
Still they didnt want her and cant run either, I got her going for <500, sold her euro lights , front & rear spoiler for 300 and the brand new batt for 100, so the car didnt cost me a lot.
I've installed new kyb rear shock found them kind of soft, and rebuilt front calipers.
only thing I really miss is no tach , cant see the RPM needle dance around.

I bought my 1984 500 sec for $2700 with one owner and 98,000 miles on it, It also came with a complete service records. The car is in the shop right now having intake gaskets changed and other vacuum tubes changed, This is going to be the only worked on to it so far.

By serendipity, a few months ago I bought a 1986 420SEL for $1,800. Looking at a white/tan, one owner 91 560SEL for $2,200. Looks mint and has 89,000 miles.
My friend and I purchased a 1984 500SEL Euro for $2,000 total ($1k / person) on a whim off of CL and have loved the car ever since. It had 128,000 miles on it at purchase.
Based upon what I've seen since purchase, I probably paid too much.
But, I got the car I've always wanted in spectacular shape with 110,00 miles. When I look at it, its worth what I paid. When I drive it, its worth even more.
