Front Brake Pads

I know I need to change my front brake pads. Is there any special tool that i'll need to do them. Does the caliper have to be pushed back and if so, what is the best way to do it. [;)]

RE: Front Brake Pads

I think it is a 19mm. A small punch. A 6" C clamp. Needle nose pliers. Once I pull the small cotter pins for the slide pins, I use the punch to pop out the slide pins. The pads will come out now. Remove the caliper and push pistons back in with c clamp. Use one of the old pads and flip it over as a flat surface on the piston. This operation is possible without removing caliper.
