On your car the ICU will be on the passenger side under the carpet. Pull up the panel it's in there.
There are a couple of other things that affect idle when the car is cold. A temperature sending unit on the intake manifld sends a signal to the engine computer. It will inrich fuel to engine and as engine warms up it slowly leans mixture. Also if you have not checked ICV it could be stuck.
The ICU will send around 100ma to the ICV with cold engine so it will be open. At full operating temp it will send up to 1000ma to close valve and achieve ~700rpm.

There is only one temperature sender on the intake manifold. To see it, and pull the electrical connecters off you have to take off the air cleaner. Facing engine it is front right of intake manifold.
The sender on my car has two identical resisters, one to computer the other to ezl. Resistance is tested from center of socket to ground. It goes up as car warms. Should start about 250ohms and go up to 2.5 to 3 kohms.
The Two temperature senders on thermostat housing are for temp gauge and to turn aux fan on.
