Huge crash with mercedes

Today a mercedes (w123) + a opel astra smashed into eachother.

The opel was totaly smashed, but the mercedes didn't get so "much" smashed.

The car looks heavy damaged and it is, but the mercedes wansnt near the damages that the opel got. The engine was inside the dash allmost.

I have more pic's at this url:

Sad, but no peoples were killed.

This shows us that a mercedes is much more solid than a opel or another car.

RE: Huge crash with mercedes

It would appear the w123 worked just as designed: front end destroyed with the occupant “cage intact. It’s good no one was hurt – sad, though, another classic MB is totaled and lost forever. [V]

RE: Huge crash with mercedes

I'd rather have a classic Mercedes, gone and lost forever than a human being lost and gone forever. God Bless Mercedes Saftey.

Looks like another accident to chalk up for being a little out of control on the Bahn.
