Which glue to use on wood dash trim?

The wood dash trim on this one is loose in sections and needs to be reglued. Which glue works best on that? Thanks.

If it's the veneer peeling up, I suggest expoxy. If it's the whole piece of wood, check the plastic behind the wood that has the connectors. Shouldn't need glue then.

I used a heat gun and peeled the old varnish right off, and then just laquered the veneer clear for a lighter color.
