Does anyone know if the later five speed gearbox can fit into the W126? Maybe the internals can be made to fit or something.
Merc reckon that at least half a second can be shaved off the 0-60 mph of the lates V8s just by putting in the new 7 speed box and the mid renge is much faster.
I always think that I could use another gear. Reagrds, Chris.
