has your turning radius / circle been affected by the 225's?
I spoke to the local Yokohama dealer afew weeks ago when i put new 215's on my car, and they said that since the standard rim size is 15 x 7, and the original oem tire was a 205, a 225 is not recommended as it will 'curve' from the bottom (not sit flat on the road). a 225 needs at least a 7.5" size rim to properly fit the tire.
This i would assume is correct as my bmw 740 has a 7.5" rim and 225's on it.
I don't know but my lowered Jeep Comanche has 235/50 15 on a 15 X 7 rim. I've had over 2000 lbs in the back and never rolled a tire. As for the radius, a 205/65 should have the same radius as 225/60.
I have a 1983 380 SEC with 205 60 R15's on AMG rims. I have little knowledge in reading the tire sizes other than the diameter. If I want to put slightly bigger tires, how far can I go safely?
Thank you,
Wai-Lin

Anyone have 225/60 15 on their stock Rims?
