Another Sunroof Question

Here is the deal. I can hear the motor working, the roof goes up on one side, not on the other, will not go back at all. I am assuming it is off track, cable problems, etc.

Question: How much to repair and who does it? Body shop as it would seem the headliner would need to be taken off/replaced to access the workings of the roof.

She was working so smooth and then a few days ago...the roof won't hardly budge! So sad...

i got the same problem with my sunroof. one side goes up on vent but that's about it. i hear the motor as well and i hear all the gears and cables moving but no action.[:(]
my parts guy told me to even get at the sunroof itself is a pain in the a$$! he mentioned something about a couple of hundred at least to repair.
i don't have the funds right now to do it, and the windows go down fine.
if you do it or get it done can you please post or email me on the outcome
