Cool Where is the Thermo Time Switch

Can someone tell me where the theremo time switch is located on the straight six, how to diagnose, remove and replace? Also, how do I remove and replace the Cold Start Valve? Yes, I have searched the forum and found no info on remove and replace.

At the rear of the block, on top....it is a green colour with two prongs sticking out. It is the only green coloured sensor on the block.

A 22m deep thin wall socket will be required to remove.

If engine is hot when removing, release the water system pressure by opening the rad reservoir cap half-turn.

The cold start valve is located between injectors 3 and 4 on the intake manifold and is simply removed by removing the 5mm allen bolt. The electrical plug simply unclips off and the fuel line is undone using a 12mm or 14mm spanner. Remove the fuel line before removing the 5mm allen bolt holding down the injector.

Thanks T,

Two question though. Seems as like I read somewhere in this forum that the TTS was colored red on the straight 6, yes/no?

Also, I assume there is little or no gas pressure when removing the CSV thus minimal gas squirt?
