I am actually using a Menzerna Intensive Polish for the Chrome. I accidentally ran over it one day while polishing my W201, and I noticed it worked really well, haha.

My last project for today were the headlights.

Many earlier posts stated emphatically to not even touch the reflectors since the electro deposit aluminum was so fragile. Looks like you got away with it. Just superb! It is such a great feeling to make major improvements for little expense.

Wow What was the process you used on the headlights? They turned out great!

For the glass I wet sanded them (lightly), and then used a glass polish on them.

For the inside of it, a lot of it I just wiped down with a microfiber cloth, and I just painted the yellowing grey plastic bit.

I did the 3rd brake light (thats in the spoiler) as well as some more work on the lights. I will keep you guys updated of course.

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy just the rubber seals for the front corner lights? I am in dire need of some. The ones I have are toast.

Starting Monday the mechanical work will begin, the car isn't running. Who knows how much work it needs. When all the mechanical work is done the car will be torn apart and repainted. I am stuck between 172 (Anthracite Gray - Original Color) or 040 (Black - I like the way it looks). Any suggestions?
