Some more information.
The original color comes up as Anthracite Grey Metallic, 172, but I believe the car was repainted Black at some time.
The car is a Euro-Spec 500SE. Has AMG Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, Side Skirts, and Wheels. At least visibly. What else the car has I will have to find out Friday.

It was imported in early 2000.
A Euro spec 500E???!!
WOW!!
I can't imagine anything more exciting to own than that!!
I don't imagine how you can wait.
Congrats. You are VERY lucky!!!
I drove a '92 American-spec one one time. I just loved it. You will feel the same way about yours.
500Ecstacy.com will be the place to go for you.

The Series 1 Euro 500SE came with the 117.961 or 963 engine and had either 237 or 228 HP stock.
AMG offered three stages of tuning which upped the output considerably.
Stage 1: Camshafts, port & polish
Stage 2: Stage 1 + bore & stroke increase to 5.4L
Stage 3: 4-valve heads.
