new front end, something "clunks"

hello, have a 1991 560SEL with about 156,000 miles on the odo. recently installed new tie rods, center link and steering shock. when I turn left and go over a bump, there is a slight "clunk" and the steering wheel has a very slight play in it. any ideas as to what this might be? a worn steering gear perhaps?

try replacing the Idle Arm bushing. That is about all that is left.. other than that would be possible ball joints or strut rod bushings.
