I went to the scrap yard today to pick up a "new" condenser and saw a wrecked w124 300CE with nice 16" RS90 Lorinser chromes sitting there. I know, I know...anticipating another "w124 to w126" rim question, the crowd moans in anguish. But hark!
These turned out to be LK 112, 7.5 wide, ET 35 so AS WE ALL KNOW, I will need spacers for those to fit, but for 200 bucks for the set I could not wait for the answer to the question and had to bag them, stat.
Now, I am wondering what spacers to get and what a good place to order from would be. Also, if I should go with 10mm ones to make it back to stock offset, or bring the wheels out ever so slightly to fill out the wheel wells a little. From prior threads I assume that 15mm spacers would still be reasonable and that either way, "hub-centric" ones are the way to go. Should I go screw-on or screw-through, and will I need new lug nuts for either technique and size?
Pretty much, I'd like to hear your valued opinions and experiences.
Basic info: I am currently running OEM 15", my front fender lips are rolled (I guess per factory), and my suspension setup I assume to be all stock.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I am kinda shooting for H&R ones after a little online research.
I did see the Lorinsers on eBay, but they're 7mm...might be cutting it a little close at ET 28. Or???
The 7 mm Lorinser spacers could work. The rims are only 7" wide so an offset of 28 mm should be fine.
The wheels would look a whole lot better with the 15 mm spacers though.
You may need new lug bolts, at least with the 10 or 15 mm spacers.
To ensure that your wheels are on correctly the bolts must be able to do 10 full turn in the mounting plate. The 39 mm standard shank is not long enough for both the wheels and the spacer.

In addition, watch the amount the lug bolts go into the hub. In the front it doesn't matter how far since there isn't anything in there. The parking brake mechanism is inside the rear hub and not too far in at that.
Make sure you spin the rear tires by hand after the new rims are on there to verify that you're not hitting anything. If you're hitting the brakes and back out of the driveway, you'll trash the parking brakes (empirically derived data, don't ya know).

Thanks to all who responded. I found two sets of H&R spacers with twenty 50mm lug bolts for under $70 total and will go with those. I will make sure not to screw them into my parking brakes!
