Step-by-step replacement of tail lamp lens for 126?

Those who've backed into an inanimate object with a 126 know the anxiety of having to replace a tail lamp lens. Well I got myself a good deal on a replacement lens, and now I need a little help with the process of installation. Does anyone have a DIY pictorial--or just a well-written set of directions--for installing this lens? I've heard all about screws and clips, and would rather not "fix" myself into a corner by flying blind.

Thanks,

DL

Sorry I don't have pix, but it is pretty easy.

Take off the bulb carrier from inside the boot, then start undoing all the nuts that you can see around the border of the lens. Once you pull it out of the bodywork, there are a whole pile more little nuts to take the reflector part off.

Honestly, it is very easy, just take your time and look at all the bits.

Installation is reverse.

Cheers

Six screws around the housing.

unplug the wire.

All done.

I changed my taillights a while ago and posted the event. Here is the link...

Should be the same.

Thanks!

I appreciate the input. I'll let everyone know how the replacement went once it arrives.
