new owner, 2 questions

Hi...new owner and new to the group....my 89 300SE seems to have high rpm's...turning about 3500 at 70 mph. Also...the heater does not seem to work....a small amount of warm air comes out....fan works, A/C works......nothing hot. Anyone experienced these before I really need advice!! Thanks!

3500RPM is normal I think for that speed

These engines run at High RPMS

your heater problem might be a monovalve

search this forum for monovalve, there is a cheap kit that you can buy to fix it..
