RE: To tint or not tint the windows? .... that is the question!
we leave our car un- tinted mainly beacause it shows of the new mb leather inside. We just condition the leather every now and then and supposedly adds uv protection. Then tint does look classy. Difficult decision, but i don't think we will ever tint.
RE: To tint or not tint the windows? .... that is the question!
If i was drivin my car more and didnt have to go so far away to college i would def tint my car. The sun in NY is crazy in the summer and it def sets you car apart from others. It looks pimp and it'll def turn heads b/c ppl wanna check out whos in there... I think its obvious that most benz come with leather but thats just my thought and thats what i think g luck on your decision either way the benz is a beautiful car [8D]

I am tempted to get the curtain kit for the rear windows. If I can find it I will try it.
There is nothing like having some privacy when needed, specially in the back. But like everyone said, the interior is worthy of display. I think the curtain can serve both purposes.
The only problem with this setup is that when you drive the car around you will be taken for a chauffeur, so maybe you should play the part and get a cap while you are at it.

I'm not sure what some people around here are doing in their back seats (privacy issues), but I think that tinting would make sense in the desert states because intense UV may damage the leather and wood trim. Remember that Germany is not known for its sun - more for their engineering and brews. [:D]

Since tinting the windows will help preserve the leather and wood grain interior, I would definetly do it. And if you want to show off your interior, just roll with your windows down.

If your car is not garaged and if you don't regularly use a car cover, then a quality tint job will help preserve your interior. I also prefer the look of the 126 chassis cars when they are tinted.
