Hi All
Been a while since i posted.
I put my 1996 W124 E220 on a track last week. Its the only place you can push the car. However, i noticed that the rev limiter was kicking in at 4500 rpm in every gear.
As far as i understood, the rev limiter is supposed to kick in if the engine is not under load ie., in neutral and standing still, and not when the car is in gear and moving.
The car is an M111 engine. Petrol. Manual transmission.
Why is this happening? Any ideas?
