when I was replacing the headlight lens on my 95 e320 cab i noticed a screw that holds one corner of the lens to its housing but its head has been filled with epoxy or something so as to not allow it to be screwed out.......... why
US DOT regulations require the headlight bucket to be sealed. in europe, you can replace the glass face plate, in the US you were supposed to replace teh whole headlight bucket.
thanks for the explanation I was able to unscrew it and replace the lens but very painful
